Jesse Morgan. Singer, songwriter, composer and arranger, has been anchored as a believer in Jesus Christ since childhood. The third of seven children, Morgan was born Jesse Rufus Boateng Morgan in Kumasi, the second largest city in Ghana, West Africa.
He grew up singing in his church’s local choir at Assemblies of God (Madina Central), He later formed a Gospel Group called “The Heaven Blasters”, singing Lead and also the Choir Director for “The Gospel Light International Church Ghana". Jesse later moved to London where he performed at numerous locations, including churches where he also directed various choirs before moving out to California.
Jesse has developed a musical style that morphs the likes of Andre Crouch, Kirk Franklin and Mali Music yet stands alone as its own entity by providing non-compromising lyrics that will uplift your spirit, along with refreshing melodies and harmonies, on top of musical arrangements that are sure to please. Most importantly, his unique blend of intimate worship, along with the added element of high energy, which essentially is attributed to The Holy Spirit, ushers in the presence of GOD which has impacted lives worldwide, leaving audiences with an emotional and spiritual experience.
Jesse considers it an honor and a privilege to stand and lead GOD's Children in the art of spiritual intimacy. His insatiable passion for worship songs that take you to the throne room of God, has helped him in his role as Minister of Music, Praise and Worship Leader at the Redeemed Christian Church Of God (Miracle Christian Center), in Victorville California headed by, Pastors’ Innocent and Josephine Odinigwe.
The West African worship artist has performed throughout Ghana, Europe and the United States alongside legends in the Gospel music scene including Micah Stampley, Donnie McClurkin, Tye Tribbett, the late Andrae Crouch & Pastor Jason Nelson. Jesse uses his musical talents as a mission to give his audience a sense of purpose, love and hope for a better future through Christ. Jesse now calls Los Angeles, California home, where he lives with his wife Rebecca, and son Daniel.
